Headwear: "Colombian" Necktie

A v-shaped neck tie with keeper loop, colored as the Colombian flag. A reference to the "Colombian necktie" (Spanish: corte de corbata, tie-cut),  a form of execution or post-mortem mutilation in which the victim’s tongue is pulled through a deep cut beneath the jaw and left dangling on the neck. It first appeared in Colombia during the period known as La Violencia (1948–1958) as a method of psychological warfare designed to scare and intimidate. I don't know that anyone who sees you wearing the thing will actually get it, but you'll know. And that's good enough for me. Looking for something interesting to wear to your office's casual Friday? Maybe you want to make a meme out of your graduation photos. Perhaps you just need an ice-breaker on your first date. Whatever the case, my creativity, depraved sense of humor, and attention to detail will get you taken care of. Made of 100% polyester, this flexible, vibrantly colored, and smooth-printed tie comes with a silky finish along with a keeper loop for holding the tie tail behind the business end of this puppy.  Material: 3.10oz/yd² (105gsm) polyester 56" in length (lucky you) One-sided print (the other side doesn't matter anyway) V-shaped end Keeper loop for securing tie tail Sewn-in label Blank product sourced from China with original design or corporate riff by Red Pawn
