Please refer to your pet's weight as the main metric. Size M is ideal for petite pets (cats up to 8 lbs, puppies/dogs up to 6 lbs). Size L is designed with extra torso space for larger, fluffier companions (cats up to 16 lbs, dogs up to 12 lbs). Ensure your pet's head sits comfortably at collar height when sitting inside. Is it secure? Can my pet jump or slip out of the hole? The carrier is fully equipped with an integrated safety leash clip. You should always attach this inner security strap to your pet's harness or collar. Next, pull the soft round drawstring neck adjuster to snuggly (but comfortably) fit your pet's neck to prevent any accidental escapes. How do I clean and wash this canvas bag? Because the bag is crafted from pure heavy cotton canvas, we recommend hand washing in cold water with mild, pet-safe laundry detergent to maintain the structure of the cartoon felt patchwork. Hang or lay flat to air dry. Do not tumble dry to prevent shrinkage of natural fibers.
