Bird Stopper - PHEASANT

After a successful day afield, few rituals compare to pouring a measure of fine whiskey while recounting the hunt with fellow sportsmen. This moment deserves a vessel sealed with the same attention to quality that defines everything we make. Our Bird Stopper bottle stops represent a superior approach to preservation. Where most stoppers rely on a single O-ring contact point, our patented two-ring design creates dual sealing surfaces against the bottle's interior. The result is a friction fit that outperforms tapered alternatives while accommodating both traditional cork-top and modern screw-top bottles. The engineering is simple, elegant, and effective. The stopper itself is machined from solid FDA-approved brass—the same material trusted in water couplings throughout the country and used to craft brass wine goblets for centuries. This isn't decorative brass. This is functional brass built to a standard, backed by a lifetime guarantee on both the stopper and FDA-approved nitrile O-rings. Over time, the brass develops a rich patina that tells its own story, deepening in character with each pour. Mounted atop the stopper sits a genuine taxidermy bird head, positioned on an Arthur-branded wooden pedestal. Each bird (pheasant, quail or chukar) is unique, a one-of-a-kind piece that connects your bar to the field. No two are identical, just as no two hunts are the same. The craftsmanship is evident in the mounting, the finish, and the presentation. The complete set arrives in a wooden transport box bearing the stamped Arthur logo—ready for display or gifting to a fellow sportsman who understands that quality extends to every detail, from the field to the home.
