HE FUMBLED ME

He didn’t lose me because I was hard to love—he lost me because he didn’t appreciate real love when he had it. I was loyal, supportive, consistent, and genuine. I brought peace, care, and effort—but he mistook it for something ordinary. He fumbled me means he had something solid—something honest, rare, and intentional—but chose pride, games, or temporary attention instead. He didn’t realize that loyalty and genuine love are not guaranteed to come around twice. By the time he recognized my worth, I had already healed, grown, and protected my peace. He didn’t just lose a person—he lost the kind of love people search for and rarely find.
