HDMI Cable Lock - BMPCC

The Micro-HDMI port, known as the camera’s Achilles’ Heel, is irreplaceable once damaged, rendering professional-level image monitoring impossible. That’s why protecting your BMPCC with a cable lock to prevent HDMI cables from accidentally disconnecting is critical. Our HDMI Cable Lock provides a secure solution by attaching the cable directly to the cage, alleviating strain on the port. Unlike conventional HDMI locks, it fastens to the Micro HDMI connector, minimizing the risk of signal interference from pinched cables. It is compatible with various devices, including Blu-ray players and other HDMI devices. Crafted from durable aluminum and anodized black, it ensures reliability. Includes a Micro HDMI to HDMI pigtail for added convenience. This HDMI Cable Lock features a universal design, making it versatile and compatible with a wide range of HDMI cables and devices. It is also compatible with Wooden Camera’s original half cage and the XLCS Designs Cage for Sigma FP/FP L. Benefits of Using a Locking HDMI Cable Using a locking HDMI cable offers several significant benefits: Preventing Accidental Disconnection: Locking HDMI cables ensure that the cable remains securely connected to the device, preventing accidental disconnection and the resulting signal loss. Reducing Downtime: By preventing accidental disconnection, locking HDMI cables reduce downtime and minimize the need for frequent reconnections, ensuring a smoother workflow. Improving Signal Quality: Locking HDMI cables help improve signal quality by reducing the risk of signal loss due to accidental movement or the pulling weight of the cable. Enhancing Security: Locking HDMI cables provide an additional layer of security by preventing unauthorized access to devices or data, making them ideal for professional and high-security environments. Best Practices for Use Always ensure the HDMI cable lock is securely attached to the device and the cable is properly connected. Regularly inspect the HDMI cable lock for signs of wear or damage, replacing it as needed. Use a high-quality HDMI cable that is compatible with the device and the locking mechanism. Avoid over-tightening the main body, as this can damage the device or the cable. Keep the HDMI cable lock clean and dry to prevent corrosion or damage. By following these best practices and using a locking HDMI cable, you can ensure a secure and reliable connection between devices, preventing accidental disconnection and signal loss.
