Hayley Price, The Dreamer - Original Artwork

Hayley Price The Dreamer 9 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches  Mixed media figure float framed in a tortoise frame on an off-white mat 2025 The Muses explores the many roles women embody today. Each figure represents a distinct archetype, capturing the quiet strength, complexity, and individuality that shape modern womanhood. From the warmth of The Host to the quiet observation of The Observer, the collection reflects the ways women move through spaces, relationships, and their own inner worlds. Rather than depicting specific individuals, these figures serve as reflections of familiar energies and identities. The Collector, The Romantic, and The Independent, each embody different ways of seeing and engaging with the world, offering viewers a chance to recognize pieces of themselves or the women in their lives. Together, The Muses forms a portrait of contemporary femininity, one defined not by a single narrative but by a constellation of perspectives, personalities, and presences. Each muse stands on her own while contributing to a larger story about connection, introspection, and the evolving roles women inhabit.
