Hawthorne Shield-Back Dining Chair

There's a reason shield-back chairs have never really gone out of style — the shape flatters every table it sits at. The Hawthorne narrows its cane-woven back into that classic silhouette, the open weave letting light and conversation pass right through, while the seat below stays grounded in soft oatmeal linen and nailhead trim. Fluted legs, finished in a warm natural tone and marked with small carved rosette blocks, give the chair a formality that never tips into stiff. It suits a dining room built for company, but it wears just as well pulled up to a smaller table for two.
