Havenstone Marble-Look Drying Mat

New in original packaging. Care and Maintenance: Caring for a diatomaceous (DE) stone bathmat involves simple but specific maintenance steps to ensure its longevity and effectiveness. Here are key care and maintenance tips: -REGULAR CLEANING: To maintain the absorbency and cleanliness of your DE bathmat, it's important to clean it regularly. You can do this by rinsing it with water and using a non-abrasive soft cloth to clean the surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the mat. AVOID SATURATED SOAKING: While DE bathmats are highly absorbent, they should not be soaked in water. Ensure the mat is placed in a well-ventilated area where it can dry quickly. If it becomes saturated, it may take longer to dry and might become less effective. HANDLING WITH CARE: Despite their durability, DE bathmats can be fragile if dropped or handled roughly. Be careful not to drop or bend the mat, as it can carack or break. Always lift and move the mat gently. PROPER STORAGE: If you need to store the bathmat, ensure it is completely dry before doing so. Store it in a dry, ventilated area to prevent any moisture accumulation, which could compromise its quality. AVOID DIRECT CONTACT WITH OILS: Oils can clog the pores of the diatomaceous earth, reducing its absorbency. Try to avoid direct contact with oily substances. If the mat does come into contact with oil, clean it promptly, as described above.
