Hatching Eggs: Porcelain d'Uccle Bantam, Merry Manor Location

The Porcelain is the rarer variety of Belgian Bearded d'Uccle. The more common plumage color is Mille Fleur. The Porcelains are similar to the Mille Fleur pattern, but with "diluting" genes, so that Porcelains are pale where Mille Fleurs are dark, and cool where Mille Fleurs are warm.  Porcelain plumage consists of a base of parchment feathers, each one marked with a lavender blue crescent-moon, and tipped with a pale, gibbous spangle, making for a lovely dappled grey---like moonlight on frosted dried grass. They positively glow! The fluffy beards of the Porcelains give them an air of shyness, so it is delightful to discover how truly friendly they are. They are fair layers of tiny, creamy-colored eggs. Note that their mature coloring takes time to manifest and does not usually appear until after the first adult molt. Juvenile plumage will be without the subtle spangles of adult birds. The sweet disposition of the adorable Porcelain d'Uccles makes them a must for anyone who likes pet bantams; their radiant beauty means they are also indispensable for anyone who likes to show. Will the post office deliver the eggs to my door?  Shipping labels on our hatching egg boxes indicate that the post office should "CALL ON ARRIVAL." This reduces the handling and extremes of temperature the eggs experience en route to you and can ultimately increase the viability of your eggs. However, this information is often not seen by the carrier, and eggs are delivered to the physical shipping address on the label anyway. If it is imperative to you that the eggs not be delivered directly to your shipping address, you can change the ship-to address on your order to the address of your post office of choice, attn: 'your name.' If you choose to do this, make sure to include a valid phone number so the post office can reach you when the box arrives.
