Hatching Eggs: Easter Egger Bantam, Merry Manor Location

At My Pet Chicken, we can’t get enough of Easter Eggers—and it’s easy to see why! Their eggs come in an enchanting array of colors, from sky blue to sage, mint, and turquoise. Occasionally, you’ll even find tan, cream, or beige eggs among the mix. Kids especially love collecting these beautifully colored treasures—it’s like having a springtime egg hunt all year long! You’ll notice that egg colors are most vibrant early in the laying season and gradually fade as the months go by, adding a touch of seasonal magic to your egg basket. Our Easter Egger Bantams are just as colorful as their eggs, sporting a wide variety of feather patterns and hues—white, black, brown, blue, and countless combinations in between. Unlike Araucanas, they are not rumpless, and they feature normal tails and pea combs. As they mature, most will develop slate-blue or willow-green legs, though this may not be visible when they’re young. These bantams typically begin laying around seven months of age, a bit later than some breeds, but once they start, they’re dependable layers of uniquely colored eggs—each hen producing her own special shade. While they may go broody occasionally, they’re not especially prone to it. Will the post office deliver the eggs to my door?  Shipping labels on our hatching egg boxes indicate that the post office should "CALL ON ARRIVAL." This reduces the handling and extremes of temperature the eggs experience en route to you and can ultimately increase the viability of your eggs. However, this information is often not seen by the carrier, and eggs are delivered to the physical shipping address on the label anyway. If it is imperative to you that the eggs not be delivered directly to your shipping address, you can change the ship-to address on your order to the address of your post office of choice, attn: 'your name.' If you choose to do this, make sure to include a valid phone number so the post office can reach you when the box arrives.
