Hatchet Snowboard - 26/27

Slash. Spin. Stomp. Surf. The Hatchet Snowboard is Weston’s freestyle pow slayer - a volume-shifted directional twin built for riders who want to bring their park style into the backcountry and float deep without losing their ability to throw tricks. It’s wide, surfy, and playful by design, making it the board of choice for side hits, pillow drops, and creative lines in soft snow. Shorter and wider than your standard deck, the Hatchet’s volume-shifted shape lets you downsize without losing float. A blunted nose and tail reduce swing weight for easier spins, while the wider platform gives you more surface area to stay on top of the pow. It’s got a centered stance for freestyle flow, with a subtle taper and slight setback for directional stability when you're slashing natural features or lining up a backcountry booter. Built on our Freedom Core (poplar + paulownia), the Hatchet balances lightweight agility with pop and durability. Tip to Tail Carbon Stringers provide torsional response with added S-Weave Carbon to boost your ollies, while the Sintered Durasurf 4001 Base keeps you hauling on the flats. Add a Rugged Topsheet and UHMW sidewalls, and you've got a deck that can handle impact without flinching. Whether you’re building kickers, surfing trees, or just looking for a fresh way to ride the mountain, the Hatchet is the board that lets you get weird - and rewards every creative line you take. Backed by Weston’s 4-Year Warranty and the trusty Board Slayer Program, the Hatchet is more than a pow board - it’s your license to send with style.
