Hatch Limited Edition Iconic Fly Reel Rust

The 2026 Custom Rust Collection brings a striking, limited-edition rust colorway to Hatch's flagship Iconic reel. Machined in the USA from a single piece of aluminum and built on the same fully sealed, carbon disc drag platform trusted from freshwater trout to the salt, each reel is produced in strictly limited quantities across select sizes and arbors — once they're gone, they're gone. NEW LOOK: The Iconic Reel retains the now 'Iconic' Hatch window pattern with 6 fins, recalling the original Finatic model. Instantly identifiable and classic, the Hatch look is simply Iconic — here finished in an exclusive Rust anodize. MACHINED REEL SEAT: We were the first and now one of the only reel manufacturers to make the reel body out of one piece. It is an expensive way to produce the reel but has the advantage of never having a reel seat loosen up due to galvanic corrosion. NEW SPOOL DESIGN: We have ported the spool arbor which allows lines to dry better on the reel after use. We have also cut aesthetic holes into the Mid Arbor spools, making it much simpler than before to distinguish between a Large and Mid arbor. IMPROVED SEALING: Through better design and concentricity, we have increased sealing by eliminating water entry points. NEW DRAG MATERIAL: Our carbon-filled drag material dissipates heat faster and creates a smoother feel — the smoothest drag system to date.
