Harwick Universal Soft Wheel Casters, Set of 5 [HF-CASTER]

Many new chairs are designed with hard wheel casters, which are only suitable for carpeted surfaces. Hard wheels tend to skate and slide on hard floors. To ensure safe movement on chair mats and all hard floor surfaces, it's important to use soft wheel casters. Soft wheel casters are specially designed for use on hardwood, tile, laminate, and vinyl flooring. Soft wheels provide better traction and prevent sliding, and they also have a protective coating that prevents scuff marks on hard flooring. These soft wheel casters feature 2" diameter dual wheels and a 7/8" stem, providing maximum mobility and smooth, quiet rolling in light to medium-duty applications. Transitioning from one surface to another is effortless and comfortable with these soft-wheel casters from Harwick. Sold in sets of five, they typically fit most nylon office chair bases. Their durability and softness ensure that you will enjoy comfort and strength for many years to come. The latest trend in office chair casters is to replace them with Rollerblade wheels. While they look much cooler than standard casters, there is a significant issue with their size. Rollerblade wheels are typically too large for most office chair bases, causing excessive lateral pressure on the base. Most chair bases are not designed to withstand this level of pressure, leading to breakage that, in turn, voids the warranty. We've witnessed this happen numerous times. Additionally, using roller blade wheels can create a fall hazard. It's best to avoid Rollerblade wheels altogether! Features: Fits most nylon chair bases. Fit cannot be guaranteed on metal bases.
