Harrison Bergeron

HARRISON BERGERON By Gonzalo Adrian Battaglia Ink on paper print on 300 gsm rag paper, 2014.   ABOUT THIS PRINT — HARRISON BERGERON Some years ago, while involved with a comics-related high school summer camp, I challenged the kids with an assignment that would teach them what working on a professional comic book might be like. I took Kurt Vonnegut’s Harrison Bergeron, a short story that I thought might resonate with the kids, and adapted it into a comic script. We separated the work into pages, so each artist created one. The artwork featured here is the cover, which I created myself with pencil, ink, and digital coloring.
