Hardy Fern Collection

The right spread of ferns can transform a shade garden with beauty and grace. We asked our research farm manager to consider the best performances he's seen come out of ferns in our research garden and come up with a selection that would outperform any garden center selection. The collection he designed is delightfully diverse. It has an array of different textures and all are perennial, adaptable and low-maintenance. Great for borders and as backdrops for flowering plants. The collection includes: Northern Maidenhair Fern, Fortune's Cold Hardy Fern and Lady in Red Fern. Athyrium filix-femina, Adiantum pedatum, Cyrtomium fortunei
