Hard Rubber Mullen Fixed Gag

The Hard Rubber Mullen Fixed Gag Bit combines the stable, pressure-distributing mullen mouthpiece with the controlled lift of a fixed gag. The hard rubber mouthpiece offers a solid, even feel, making it suitable for horses that benefit from consistent contact without excessive movement in the mouthpiece. The fixed gag design provides a more direct action, encouraging responsiveness while maintaining stability. Key Features of the Hard Rubber Mullen Mouthpiece: Steady and Comfortable Fit : The smooth, straight design allows the horse to maintain a relaxed and natural mouth position, encouraging acceptance of the bit. Balanced Pressure Distribution : Ideal for sensitive horses, this mouthpiece applies even pressure across the tongue and bars, promoting steady contact without sharp or direct points of pressure. Durable and Supportive Design: Made from hard rubber for longevity, providing a consistent feel while remaining softer than metal for horses that prefer a more forgiving bit. Straight Mouthpiece Features : Even Pressure Distribution : A straight mouthpiece applies uniform pressure across the tongue and bars, ensuring balanced and even contact. Adjustable Pressure : The thickness and shape of the mouthpiece dictate where and how much pressure is applied, giving riders the ability to customize the feel. Steady Contact for Calmer Horses : The straighter and thicker the mouthpiece, the more pressure it applies to the tongue, making it suitable for horses that need more stable contact. Fixed Gag Design Features : Encourages Responsiveness : Even with the added lift, the design encourages smooth communication between the rider and horse, helping the horse stay engaged without tension. Consistent Leverage : The fixed gag cheekpieces provide consistent leverage without any sliding action giving riders steady control. Added Lift : The gag action applies upward pressure, encouraging the horse to lift its head, making it ideal for horses that tend to be heavy on the forehand.
