The controller is the box between the battery and the motor, deciding how much current reaches the motor at any moment. When one fails the symptoms are usually cut-outs under load, weak acceleration or a bike that will not move at all despite a charged battery. Controllers are matched to the model and, in several cases, to the UL or non-UL version of the same bike. Before ordering, photograph the label on your existing controller and send it to Adventure Motion support so we can confirm the match.
