FRAMING:  Framing may add 3 - 7 business days to processing time. SHIPPING:  Unframed prints ship directly from a specialized print shop and take 2-5 business days. Framed prints ship directly from the framer in 2-7 business days. PACKAGING:  Small prints are flat packed in a sturdy photo mailer. Large prints (11 x 14" and over) are rolled and packaged in tubes. Framed art ships directly from the framer, securely packaged in a cardboard crate. ABOUT THIS PRINT:  For this series, I transformed a collection of floral paintings into graphic images reminiscent of antique textiles or decorative art designs. I love the interplay between the gestural paint strokes and the mirrored, manufactured quality of the graphic design.  I've titled the series "The Hanging Gardens of Babylon" because the flowing vines and pale desert colors evoke the wonder of the ancient garden.  The symmetrical elements further connect the work to antiquity, drawing inspiration from the principles of classical architecture found in temples.
