Handspun Bubbles 11/1 Weekend

Create an interesting visual texture with corespun yarn and silk hankies! Students will learn the basics of how to spin fibers around a commercial yarn as a core. The resulting corespun singles will then undergo experimental plying with silk hankies to yield bubbly textured yarn.   Materials: Students need to have a functional spinning wheel to take this class. A material fee for fiber and supplies is included in the class fee. Date: Sunday, November 1 Time: 12-3pm Instructor: Emily Wohlscheid of Bricolage Studios Cost: $75 Maximum of 10 students, this class will run with 5 students.
