Retrofit Steel Handrail Kit for 3-Step Poly Step Stool – Yellow

Overview Barron Equipment and Overhead Door carries the steel retrofit handrail kit for 3 step nestable poly step stool models in the SPN series. A hand-rail gives the user stability when maneuvering on or around the step stool. The unit is easily attachable to an existing step stool model. Strong design allows for everyday use. This handrail kit is a retrofit accessory, which means it attaches to a 3 step poly step stool that is already in service. There is no need to buy a new step stool to get handrail support. The kit is covered by a 90 Days Limited Warranty and has an approximate shipping weight of 112 lbs. Features and Benefits This handrail kit is made from steel and finished in safety yellow to match the SPN step stool line. The bright color helps the step stool stand out in busy work areas so it is easier for workers and equipment operators to see. Handrail designs also allow the unit to be pushed or pulled with less bending and twisting. That means workers can move the step stool between tasks without extra strain. Assembled dimensions include a depth of 27.5625 inches and a width of 4.187 inches. The handrail kit bolts directly onto compatible 3 step models, making installation straightforward. Because it is a retrofit, facilities can upgrade step stools already on the floor instead of replacing them. This makes the handrail kit a practical way to add safety to existing equipment without starting over. The steel build is made to handle daily use across multiple shifts. Applications The retrofit handrail kit is a good fit for any workplace where workers use 3 step nestable poly step stools and need a secure grip when stepping up or down. Common environments include: Warehouses and distribution centers Stockrooms and retail backrooms Maintenance and repair areas Production and assembly floors Commercial kitchens and food service areas Hotels and hospitality facilities Municipal and government buildings Moving and packaging areas Adding a handrail kit gives workers an extra point of contact for balance. This is especially helpful in fast-paced settings where someone steps on and off the unit many times during a shift. Nestable poly step stools provide lightweight, high-visibility access for warehouses, stockrooms, maintenance areas, production floors, retail backrooms, and commercial workspaces. The retrofit design lets a facility keep its current step stools in service while still improving worker stability.
