hand sewing basics: in person

Please note this is an in person lesson, and is only available to students in the Washington, D.C. area.  If you are not in the Washington, D.C. area, click here for the virtual lesson, conducted via Zoom.  If you've been curious about hand sewing, repairing your own clothing, or the simple beauty of hand embroidery, this is the lesson for you!  In two and a half hours, you will learn the most common hand stitches used in sewing garments and accessories, mending clothing, and in hand embroidery.
