The symbolism comes from the ancient Trypillian culture. For Ukrainians, the Pysanka brings good fortune, wealth, health and protection to the home- and it is also a symbol of life, because our planet looks like an egg. We are selling these to help support Lesia during these terrible times in Ukraine. Each egg features a pair of horses on each side and fish all around. Fish are a symbol of Christianly, reflects abundance, regenerative powers and sacrifice. It is also a symbol of wisdom and intelligence. Horses are a symbol of wealth and prosperity, endurance and speed; it also emphasizes the motion of the sun. Each egg is one-of-a-kind, please allow for small variations.
