Hand Made Soap

If you have ever used hand made soap, you know what a luxury it is compared to the store bought versions. Not only are the ingredients cleaner, but it leaves your skin feeling soft and nourished unlike the store bought versions. In our soap bars, you will find both beeswax and honey as ingredients. These two ingredients are produced by our family farm in North Alabama, and have some really fantastic and surprising skin benefits! Honey Honey is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the air into the skin, keeping it hydrated and soft. Honey has natural antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, making it effective in treating acne and preventing future breakouts. It promotes wound healing and can help reduce the appearance of scars and minor burns. Rich in antioxidants, honey helps to fight free radicals, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Honey has anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe irritated or inflamed skin, making it beneficial for conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Regular use of honey can help brighten the complexion and even out skin tone. Beeswax Beeswax creates a protective barrier on the skin, locking in moisture without clogging pores. Beeswax has anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe and calm irritated skin. It helps in the healing of minor cuts, wounds, and abrasions. Beeswax has natural antibacterial properties, which can help keep the skin clean and reduce the risk of infection. It helps to soften and smooth the skin, improving its texture. Beeswax contains vitamin A, which is beneficial for cell regeneration and skin health. Together, honey and beeswax provide superior hydration, keeping the skin moist, soft, and supple. Beeswax forms a protective barrier on the skin, while honey helps to nourish and hydrate, improving the skin's overall health and resilience. The combination of honey’s healing properties and beeswax’s protective qualities can accelerate the healing of minor wounds and scars. The antioxidants in honey and the vitamin A in beeswax work together to reduce signs of aging and promote skin renewal. Both honey and beeswax have anti-inflammatory properties, making them ideal for soothing irritated or sensitive skin. The antibacterial and antimicrobial properties of both ingredients help to keep the skin clean and protect against infections. By harnessing the combined power of honey and beeswax, you can create a potent skincare routine that promotes healthy, hydrated, and youthful-looking skin.
