Hand Hewn Side Table with Brass Bow Tie

Rustic Fir Stump with Brass Bow Tie Made in Tennessee of reclaimed fir.  Hand cut brass bow tie perfectly inlaid into the table top Over a decade in the making, the proprietary finishing techniques are the result of years of hands-on experimentation and refinement using Rubio Monocoat — a plant-based, zero-VOC finish that enhances the natural character of the wood without compromising on performance. Each custom-blended finish is applied by hand in a multi-step process that brings out the organic beauty and depth of our reclaimed materials. The result is a rich, tactile surface with a modern yet timeless feel — matte, durable, and unmistakably luxurious.  Made to order - please allow 8 weeks for fabrication.  Each table is hand crafted from natural wood and hand finished. As a result each table will have slight variation in color and texture, adding to its charm and giving it the authentic feel of vintage pieces that inspired this design.  12" H x 12" D x 18" H Also available in custom sizing upon request.   Editor's notes 200 years ago before lumber met the industrial revolution, a man shaped a tree in his nearby woods with the singular ax, sharpened daily - for several hours over many days. Today we call this hand hewn. You can call this your impeccable taste.  This example is constructed perfectly of hand hewn panels meeting with mitred edges, creating the appearance of a solid block of wood without the weight.
