Hand Blown Wine Glasses

The outline of this piece is based on Flemish wineglasses, the kind you see peeking out of a pile of fruit or fish in a 16th-century still life. The slight tulip shape and the short stem help the wine (red or white, or sherry, or sake, whatever) open up and stay cool as you carry it. It’s not a common shape anymore, but as soon as you hold it in your hand, you can tell why it was such a popular shape for so many centuries. Note: These are hand-blown glasses, and some variation is to be expected. Dimensions may vary slightly from those listed. We embrace and encourage these small variations, and feel they add to the overall humanity of each piece.  Material: Clear, Lead-free, hand-blown glass made in New Hampshire by “the Pool” Dimensions: 3.25” W, 4” H, 8 oz Care: We suggest hand washing these glasses. Dishwasher safe on top rack, minimize contact with other pieces in the dishwasher.
