Handmade by women in South Africa, these colorful, hand-beaded penguins are incredibly charming. The intricate bead work is meticulous. Please note that because each penguin is unique there will be some variation in color and pattern. These playful penguins make a statement alone and are especially sweet grouped together! These penguins were created through Monkeybiz: an economic upliftment project dedicated to reviving the traditional craft of African Beadwork and empowering women to become financially independent. Since 2000 Monkeybiz has supported its 320 bead artists to continue creating these artworks. All profits from the sale of artworks go back into the community.
