Handcrafted Canvas & Leather Storage Basket

There's something special about a piece that's made to be used and to age well. This canvas basket is handmade from heavyweight, 100% cotton, with a removable rigid linen lining that gives it real structure -- sturdy enough to hold its shape, soft enough to feel handmade rather than manufactured. For fiber crafters, it's a beautiful way to store yarn, wound skeins, or a project in progress right on the floor by your chair -- no more baskets that collapse the moment they're not full. It works just as well for fabric scraps, embroidery floss organizers, or any supplies that need a home with a little more presence than a plastic bin. The leather strap adjusts using brass buttons, so you can shorten the basket from its full 14 inch height down to 11 inches, or fold the top down for a more open, relaxed shape. The strap is fully removable for cleaning, and like any good leather, it will darken and soften with time and use -- part of what makes this piece feel like it's truly yours the longer you have it.
