Hammer Down Blend

Some coffees ask you to slow down and contemplate. Hammer Down is not that coffee. This is the blend we built for the people who need to get things done — roasters, drivers, early risers, and anyone who treats their morning cup as fuel for what comes next. Hammer Down is a high-caffeine blend built around complementary origins chosen for their ability to layer complexity across roast levels. At lighter roasts, a backbone of dried stone fruit — think dried apricot and plum — comes forward with a hint of caramel sweetness. Push it darker and the blend transforms: molasses, caramelized brown sugar, dark chocolate, and a whisper of nuttiness that lingers long after the last sip. We select component origins for their caffeine density and cup stability, then roast each component to its ideal profile before blending. The result is a coffee that performs consistently whether you're pulling espresso shots, running a drip machine, or brewing a French press big enough to share. This is RedEye's workhorse. It's been on the menu since the beginning, and it's not going anywhere. We wanted something with real caffeine, real flavor, and no fussiness. It’s become our most consistent seller because it works for everyone — the person who just wants a strong cup of coffee and the person who wants to geek out on what’s in it.”
