Hall Effect RPM / Speed Sensor

FuelTech's Hall Effect RPM / Speed Sensor delivers precise RPM and speed measurements for high-performance applications. This versatile sensor is designed to accurately detect rotating components such as crankshafts, driveshafts, and wheels, making it ideal for monitoring engine speed or vehicle velocity. With its robust design, the Hall Effect sensor ensures reliable performance in extreme conditions, providing consistent readings even in high-vibration and high-temperature environments. It features a durable, weather-resistant housing and comes with a built-in LED for quick installation and verification.  Compatible with all aftermarket ECUs, the sensor ensures seamless integration for optimal data logging and performance tuning. Hall Effect RPM / Speed Sensors are used to measure the rotational speed (RPM) or linear speed of moving parts in applications such as: Engine RPM Measurement: Hall effect sensors are widely used in automotive and motorsports applications to monitor engine speed by detecting the rotations of the crankshaft or camshaft. This data is crucial for engine management systems to optimize ignition timing, fuel injection, and overall engine performance. Vehicle Speed Measurement: These sensors can measure vehicle speed by detecting the rotation of the driveshaft or wheel hubs. The data is used for speedometers, anti-lock braking systems (ABS), traction control, and electronic stability control systems. Transmission Speed Measurement: In transmission systems, Hall effect sensors measure the rotational speed of internal components to help with gear shifting and torque conversion in automatic transmissions. Position Sensing: Besides RPM and speed, Hall effect sensors can determine the position of rotating objects, such as detecting the angle of a rotating crankshaft or camshaft. This is essential for synchronization in engine timing and for drive-by-wire systems Connector Pinout: A - 5-16V B - Signal C - Ground   DOWNLOAD MANUAL
