Three wire connection integrates seamlessly with HALL Current Sensor DAQ HAT for Raspberry Pi DESCRIPTION Hall Effect Current Sensors Open loop Hall effect sensors measure current by directly detecting the magnetic field generated by the current-carrying conductor. A Hall element inside the sensor produces a voltage proportional to the magnetic field strength, which is then processed into an output signal corresponding to the measured current. These sensors are known for their simpler design, lower cost, and lower power consumption but are generally less accurate and slower in response compared to closed-loop versions. They are suitable for applications requiring moderate accuracy and are commonly used in motor control, battery monitoring, and power supply systems. High-Performance Hall Closed Loop Current Sensor The HSTS016L is a high-performance closed-loop current sensor utilizing Hall effect technology, designed to deliver accurate and reliable current measurements across a variety of applications. Wide Input Range With a rated input range of ±20A this sensor offers versatility for monitoring different current levels in diverse scenarios. Precise and Consistent Output The sensor provides a rated output of 2.5±0.625V, delivering a consistent and precise voltage output directly proportional to the measured current. This ensures seamless integration with the HALL Current Sensor DAQ 8-Layer Stackable HAT for Raspberry Pi. Data from up to eight sensors can be acquired with a single. HALL Current Sensor DAQ HAT.
