The Shelby - Our Halibut Leather Rectangular Band Earrings

This is our handmade halibut leather rectangular band earrings, featuring sustainably sourced halibut from the beautiful Cook Inlet, Kenai Peninsula and Resurrection Bay.  This design comes in 2 shades, Light Leather and Dark Leather, on a 25mm circle design with a French hook. Depending on which part of the halibut is harvested, the design may differ due to beautiful and naturally occurring variations in this organic material.  Everything at Reel AK Jewelry is done by hand from fish to finish. We are a fishing family and the fish we catch feed our family throughout the year. We take the skin, which most people discard as waste, and make beautiful jewelry from it.
