Half Link #65

#65 half link (offset link) for #65 roller chain. It adds one pitch to the chain so you can use an odd number of pitches and fine-tune length. Sold individually. Use it on slide gate operator drive chain when a full link leaves the chain too long or too short for the chain bolts to set tension. A #65 half link will not fit other chain sizes. #65 chain is also sold as #48 chain. Both names refer to the same 1/2 in pitch chain with a 1/8 in inner width. A half link is not a master link. You still need a #65 master link to close the chain. Most gate chains do not need a half link. Use one only when chain bolt travel can't take up the extra length.
