Half Link #40

#40 half link (offset link) for #40 roller chain. It adds one pitch to the chain so you can use an odd number of pitches and fine-tune length. Sold individually. Use it on slide gate operator drive chain when a full link leaves the chain too long or too short for the chain bolts to set tension. A #40 half link will not fit other chain sizes. A half link is not a master link. You still need a #40 master link to close the chain. Most gate chains do not need a half link.
