Ruler of the underworld and all its inhabitants, Hades is the epitome of darkness. This blend unites three of the most powerful black teas into a single cup. Pu-erh brings a deep earthiness that mixes with lapsang souchong’s powerful smoke. Assam grounds the blend with a bold smoothness, while beetroot gives the cup a haunting red finish. Dark and smoky, this blend is right at home with the dwellers of the underworld. Ingredients: Pu'erh black tea, Assam black tea, Lapsang Souchong black tea, and beetroot. Brew tea at 212º - steep for 3 minutes. We had the great pleasure of working with Isabeau Backhaus on the artwork for this tea line. Isabeau is a very talented illustrator who was able to bring our ideas to life and create the wonderful pieces of art you see in the Olympus Tea Line. See more of Isabeau’s works by clicking here.
