Guy Gardner: Warrior #4 (DC Comics 1992) Direct Edition

Guy Gardner: Warrior #4 (DC Comics 1992) Direct Edition captures a specific chapter in the character's history. Written by Gerard Jones, the narrative centers on a high-stakes scenario where an assassin fires a bullet that connects with perfect accuracy. Ice appears instantly in response to the strike, resulting in a confrontation that likely marks the final fight between Ice and Guy Gardner. Visual storytelling relies on the combined efforts of artist Joe Staton and Terry Beatty, who worked on both the interior pages and the cover. This item is classified as a Direct Edition, meaning it was sold through comic book shops instead of general merchandise distributors. The identifying barcode indicates a cover price of $1.25, confirming the publication date aligns with the 1992 release schedule. For collectors, the specificity of the 1992 writer and art combination makes this issue distinct from subsequent volumes where personnel changed. Purchasing this edition ensures access to the original dialogue and layouts intended by the Jones team. It serves as an essential resource for verifying story elements related to the Ice character's development within the main Guy Gardner title.
