Guru Rinpoche Statue Gold Plated 15"

A beautiful gold plated and gilded copper statue of Guru Rinpoche sitting 15 inches tall. Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, helped to establish the Dharma in Tibet in the eighth century by constructing Samye Monastary, the first Buddhist monastary in Tibet. He and his consort, Yeshe Tsogyal, are considered the heart essence of the Dzogchen teachings and the source of the Nyingma school's terma tradition. Every square inch of this statue is beautiful to behold. The gold-plating over specific sections gives the statue a warmth which seems to glow when light touches it. Statues like this are one of a kind. This is a true masterpiece, and a powerful support to inspire your Dharma practice. This statue can be opened for consecration and fillng.  It is said that just to see an image of Guru Rinpoche has great benefit, for it plants a seed in one's mind stream of future accomplishment. Measurements: Height: 15 inches (to top of hat feather)   Please note:       Items over $200 need to have extra insurance as USPS and Shopify only automatically insure shipments up to $200. Extra insurance prices range from $.89 (for shipments up to $300 value) to $17 (for shipments that cost $2000). If you purchase an item that is over $200, you will receive an invoice for a shipping insurance fee. Again, these fees are generally very small- usually a dollar or two at most. In these situations, you can still change or cancel you order at that point if you would like to. We are always willing to help, however you need.        Shipping insurance only covers the item’s damage or loss while the shipping agent has possession of the item, i.e. pick up, transit, and delivery. Once the item has been delivered to the residence, damage and loss are not covered. If you feel that your residence is unsafe for porch delivery, please make a note at checkout or email us, and we can request a signature upon delivery. There will be a $3.70 charge from USPS for that service. Thank you for your understanding, and for supporting the Dharma.
