Gurjun Balsam Blendable Essential Oil

Gurjun Balsam Blendable Essential Oil Rich, Balsamic, & Resinous Capture the deep, earthy essence of pure Gurjun Balsam. This single-note Essential Oil delivers a rich, woody, and subtly sweet balsamic aroma that instantly grounds and smooths out any blend. Uncluttered and purely extracted, this tenacious botanical resin acts as a powerful fixative and long-lasting foundation, making it an indispensable tool for crafting premium apothecary, masculine, and sophisticated skin-care creations. The Anatomy of a Blend Master the art of formulation by understanding the volatility and evaporation rates of your ingredients. The Hook Top Notes The bright, volatile introduction to your product. These are the lightest molecules that provide the immediate first impression, but evaporate the quickest. Use them to create an uplifting, sharp opening. Citrus Mint Fresh Light Fruits The Heart Middle Notes The well-rounded core of your fragrance. As the top notes fade, the heart notes emerge to mask any sharp edges. They make up the main body of the blend and drive the overall theme of the scent. Floral Herbal Spice Green The Anchor Base Notes The deep, heavy finish. These large, slow-evaporating molecules linger on the skin long after application. They act as a fixative, anchoring the top and middle notes to prevent them from fading too quickly. Woody Resin Vanilla Musk Pyramid Placement Top Note (20%) Middle Note (50%) Base Note (30%) – Gurjun Balsam In custom formulation, Gurjun Balsam serves as a remarkably tenacious Base Note (The Anchor). Composed of large, heavy resinous molecules, its woody aroma acts as a powerful fixative. It latches onto your lighter, more volatile citrus and floral notes to extend their lifespan on the skin, while giving the overall blend a sophisticated, creamy, and earthy depth.
