Gunflint Trail Hat Knitting Pattern

This is a knitting pattern. You will receive a PDF file. The Gunflint Trail is a rustic 60-mile road in far NE Minnesota that traverses from near Lake Superior towards Canada and the Boundary Waters Wilderness through rugged boreal forest. Abundant wildlife, thick forest, rocky cliffs, swamps, rivers, and lakes make this one of my favorite drives in the US. This pattern is a tribute to this area. The pattern is written in 3 sizes: baby, adult m/l, and adult xl/xxl. The adult sizes are written to be more closely fitted to the head than my usual patterns, but suggestions for making them slouchier are included. Uses US 11 - 8.0mm and US 13 - 9.0mm needles.
