Gum Tree Cabin sample

The scent The artist This is a 2 ml spray sample. Find the full bottle here.  With Australia wildfires on the mind and heart of perfumer Dawn Spencer Hurwitz, this 100% botanical blend is distinctively woody, unexpected yet contemporary, with an eclectic vibe. It’s resinous and rustic with notes reminiscent of a cabin, some woods and a little bit of smoke. But what makes this magnificent is the use of eucalyptus leaves, a uniquely Australian ingredient. Its well-placed cooling effect connects the woody veins that run through it. You’ll continue to sniff this on your skin and say, with excitement, how did she do that? And that is why we love niche perfumers; they give us what others can’t.     Notes include cool eucalyptus leaves, lavender, rosemary, clary sage, confer needles, woods of cedar and sandal, tree moss, birch tar, choya ral and fireplace smoke. Dawn Spencer Hurwitz is a niche perfumer based on Boulder, Co. She began her perfumery career in Boston's Essence Perfumery. Dawn is a prolific creator, regularly launching scents under her own line as well as aroma-artistic collaborations with the Denver Art Museum, Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, and others.
