Guidebook of Midwestern Delights

Day 15 of Inktober 2024 - Guidebook This might be a bit of a stretch… but just go with it: the Minnesotan guidebook to cooking! Front and center is, of course, a recipe for tater tot hotdish, spam, and bars. And what’s more Minnesotan than using post-its with “You Betcha!” and “Uff-da!” for bookmarks? Think about where you’ve seen the cherry and spoon on top and you’ll make the Minnesotan connection easily. This painting will bring back all the warm and fuzzy memories of times at Grandma’s house: looking behind the can of Spam in the cupboard for the cream of mushroom soup, dumping that can and tater tots into a baking dish, and mixing “salads” of crushed candy bars and whipped cream. These are the flavors of home! This art was originally a painting Acrylic on cradled panel 12" x 12" x 1-1/2" Prints available on Paper, Metal, Canvas. New Framing Options for Paper Prints.
