GRS Positioning Engraving Block-For Microscope Work

This unique engraver's block or engraver's ball, has many Magnablock similarities and one huge difference: you can reposition its center of rotation. By pulling the release lever you can slide the upper half of the block until your work is centered. This makes this block perfect for use under a microscope because it allows you to keep your work in the field of view as you rotate the block. With a traditional engraver's block, this only happens when the work is near the center of the jaws. Often, this becomes an impossible limitation. The Positioning Engraving Block lets you move the center of rotation by simply pulling the lever. In seconds you can reposition your work to rotate within the microscope's field of view. The GRS Positioning Engraver's Block or Ball has other advantages as well, since its massive 42 lbs. weight can provide even more stability for your work See also engravers block, setter ball, setting, ball, setters ball The GRS positioning vise weighs 42 lbs (19.1kg) and has a ball diameter of 7.1" (180mm).
