Traditional potassium silicate products can significantly raise solution pH and may require special consideration during nutrient mixing. Grow Genius uses a pH-neutral stabilization system and remains stable in a reservoir for up to 7 days, making it easy to incorporate into an AutoPot feeding program. There is also no requirement to add Grow Genius first. It can be added before or after your base nutrients, although adding it last can help minimize foaming when using RO or very soft water. For AutoPot growers, simply add the appropriate dose to the reservoir and allow the system to deliver it through normal irrigation. How to Use Grow Genius Mono-Silicic Acid Root Feed / Reservoir Application For plant strength, vigorous growth, yield potential, and improved stress tolerance: Mix at 0.1 mL per gallon of water or nutrient solution. Apply approximately once per week. Use from seed germination or cutting propagation until a few weeks before harvest. Grow Genius is extremely concentrated, so accurate measurement matters. Each bottle includes a 1 mL dosing syringe to make measuring small application rates simple and repeatable. Foliar Application Grow Genius can also be applied as a foliar spray, providing another way to deliver mono-silicic acid directly to growing plant tissue. Mix at 2 mL per gallon (0.5 mL/L) of water. Apply approximately every two weeks. Use from germination or propagation until flowering conditions make foliar spraying undesirable. Do not spray under full-intensity grow lights, in strong direct sunlight, or at temperatures above 86°F. Stop foliar applications during early flowering on species that develop dense or compact flowers, particularly indoors or in cool, humid conditions.
