Grover 6 In Line Mid-Sized Locking Rotomatics - Chrome The Grover 406C6: Precision Locking Tuners with Classic Style Mid-Sized Design for Enhanced Comfort and Control The Grover 406C6 Mid-Size Locking Rotomatics deliver the renowned stability and performance of Grover's original Rotomatic tuners, now with a more compact button profile. This mid-size design provides additional finger clearance, making them an ideal choice for players who prefer a sleeker feel or have tighter headstock spacing. The 6-in-line configuration is tailored for modern electric guitars such as Stratocaster-style models, ensuring a seamless fit and enhanced playability. Effortless Locking Mechanism for Quick String Changes Featuring Grover's innovative internal cam locking system, these tuners simplify the restringing process. Simply insert the string through the post, pull it taut, and begin tuning. As you turn the tuner, the internal cam locks the string in place, allowing for precise tuning adjustments. This mechanism not only speeds up string changes but also enhances tuning stability, making it a valuable feature for both studio sessions and live performances. High Gear Ratio for Precise Tuning Adjustments With an 18:1 gear ratio, the 406C6 tuners offer fine-tuned control over pitch adjustments. This high gear ratio allows for smooth and accurate tuning, enabling players to make subtle changes with ease. The sealed, permanently lubricated gears ensure long-lasting performance and reliability, reducing maintenance needs and providing consistent tuning stability over time. Durable Construction with a Sleek Chrome Finish Constructed with high-quality materials, these tuners are built to withstand the rigors of regular use. The chrome finish not only adds a touch of elegance to your instrument but also provides resistance against corrosion and wear. Each set includes all necessary mounting hardware, including bushings, washers, and screws, ensuring a straightforward installation process. Compatibility and Installation Designed as a drop-in replacement for Grover's 305 Series, the 406C6 tuners require a 25/64" (approximately 0.391") peg hole for installation. The overall post length is 1.094", with a post length to hole of 0.795", accommodating a maximum string gauge of .054".
