Book - F: Correll: Grounded - Paperback

Grounded hit the Amazon bestsellers list in 2014 in several categories related to Christian fiction. WHEN NEW YORK CITY flight attendant Annie Taylor is grounded, her high-flying life comes crashing down. A breakup, an eviction, and a career on pause leave Annie with nowhere to go except the place she's avoided for years, her family's farm in Kentucky. There, Annie finds her grandmother as stubborn as ever, the farm in disrepair, and a suspicious stranger renting the old stone house. But the biggest surprise of all? Jake Wilder-Annie's childhood best friend-is back in town and considering a leap from the corporate ladder. As the summer heats up, so do Annie's feelings for Jake and her desire to rebuild what's been broken-on the farm and in her relationships. The quiet rhythms of the land begin to work on her, and just as Annie begins to imagine new possibilities, a phone call from New York presents the choice she never expected: stay grounded in a life she didn't think she wanted-or fly back to the one she always thought she did.
