Grom 5 Junior Binding

Their First Backcountry Setup. Built as Seriously as Yours. The Experience:  The Grom 5 is the binding that makes family touring possible — a purpose-built junior tech binding designed with the same materials and engineering standards as every other binding in the HAGAN lineup, because a young skier's safety deserves exactly the same attention to quality as anyone else's. It is not a scaled-down adult binding or a compromised entry-level product. It is a properly engineered piece of equipment built specifically for the lighter weight, developing technique, and still-growing body of a junior tourer, and it shows in every detail. An ultra-low release value range of DIN 1.5 to 5 is calibrated to protect smaller, lighter skiers from injury without releasing unpredictably on terrain they can comfortably handle, and 50mm of boot length adjustment means the binding grows with your child across multiple seasons without requiring a new setup every year. A flat and +50mm walking mode keeps the skin track manageable for smaller legs on sustained climbs, and the aluminum alloy, POM, and stainless steel construction ensures it holds up to the kind of enthusiastic, uninhibited skiing that kids do best. For parents who tour and want to bring the next generation along for the best days of the season, this is the binding that makes it happen — safely, properly, and without cutting corners.
