Hoffman Grizzly: The Versatile Legend for Logging, Linemen, and Hunting The Grizzly is a high-performance powerhouse designed for those who work and play in the most unforgiving environments. By blending premium leather with the legendary strength of Kevlar, this boot is nearly "bombproof." Whether you are a lineman on a pole, a logger on a steep grade, or a hunter in the backcountry, the Grizzly provides the stability and protection you demand. 5/5 flex rating. Armored Construction: Leather & Kevlar The Grizzly features a high-tech upper that provides a superior defense against the elements: Kevlar-Reinforced Uppers: Integrating Kevlar with high-quality leather makes this boot exceptionally resistant to cuts and abrasions from sharp shale, heavy brush, and industrial equipment. Full Rubber Rand: A heavy-duty rubber wrap encircles the entire boot, adding an extra layer of durability and protecting the leather from premature wear. Waterproof Performance: An integrated membrane ensures your feet stay 100% dry, regardless of the terrain or weather conditions. Engineered for the Climb: A Lineman and Logger Favorite What sets the Grizzly apart is its internal architecture, making it a highly popular choice for vertical professionals: Dual Nylon Shank System: These boots feature specialized dual shanks that provide unsurpassed climbing comfort. This system creates a rigid, supportive platform that is essential for linemen spending long hours on gaffs or rungs. Side-Hilling Stability: The same support system that aids in climbing also provides the lateral rigidity required for side-hilling while logging or navigating steep mountain slopes. Vibram® Teton Outsole: A world-class sole known for its longevity and deep-lug traction. For specialized logging needs, a Calk Sole is available upon request. Cushioned Wedge Sole: The soling unit utilizes differentiated density EVA to absorb shock, keeping your feet comfortable during long shifts on hard or uneven ground. All-Day Comfort & Debris Protection Lycra® Rear Spoiler: A unique rear collar made of protective Lycra® helps prevent sawdust, dirt, and line debris from entering the top of the boot. Microfiber Collar & Bellows: Provides a soft, non-binding fit around the ankle to ensure all-day comfort without "pinch points." Sizing Tip: Most customers find that the Grizzly runs slightly large. We recommend ordering a 1/2 size down from your normal boot size.
