Grizzly Bear Mask

The Grizzly Bear animal mask was created for a production of Crow and Weasel in 2017.  Grizzly Bear is strong of heart, a spirit guide and a keeper of great wisdom. Grizzly Bear: Once I was traveling all alone. And I, too, was starving.  I laid myself down on the eart and prepared myself to die, when I saw a flock of geese fly across the face of the sun.  The moment went straight to my heart; and I found the strength to go on. Weasel: Sometimes it is what is beautiful that carries you on. Grizzly Bear: It is not the beauty of the the earth that sustains you, my friends – it is your realtionship with it. Everything in the world is your relative. This is a top hat mask.  It is designed to be worn on the top of the head.  When the actor speaks the face is forward and then the mask drops and the body transforms into that of the animal. This animal mask is made of neoprene and is lined with soft foam for a snug fit.
