GrimmSpeed Short Shifter and Stubby Shift Knob Bundle

GrimmSpeed STI Short Throw Shifter + Stubby Shift Knob Bundle (2004–2021 STI) Give your STI the mechanical, connected shifting feel it always deserved. By pairing the GrimmSpeed STI Short Throw Shifter with the GrimmSpeed Stubby Shift Knob, this bundle focuses on engagement and driver control. Every shift becomes quicker, tighter, and more deliberate without sacrificing OEM compatibility or daily drivability. Why this bundle works Short, positive gear engagement: The GrimmSpeed STI Short Throw Shifter is a complete bolt-in redesign that reduces shift throw (adjustable 0%–26.3%) while improving the precision of each gear change. The result is a crisp, mechanical shift that feels immediately more performance-focused. Built for long-term precision: Sealed Enduro MAX ball bearings support heavy pivoting loads and maintain consistent engagement while resisting dirt and wear over time. The shifter keeps its accuracy mile after mile. Closer hand position, faster shifts: The Stubby Shift Knob shortens the distance between your hand and the pivot point. That smaller reach naturally speeds up shifts and gives you a more aggressive, direct feel compared to taller knobs. Lightweight performance ergonomics: Unlike heavier knobs that smooth shifts through mass, the Stubby emphasizes driver input and feedback. You feel the gearbox working, which many drivers prefer for spirited driving and track sessions. Dialed-in driving position: The shifter allows adjustable knob height (+0.3” to −1.0” vs stock), letting you fine-tune where the shifter sits relative to the steering wheel and your seating position. OEM-friendly install and fitment This bundle installs cleanly with no console trimming required, retains OEM reverse lockout compatibility, and keeps the neutral position close to factory even when set to aggressive throw reduction. It looks and functions like it belongs in the car from day one. Fitment: 2004–2021 Subaru STI (6-speed) Shift knob thread: M12x1.25 (compatible with many Subaru 5- and 6-speed applications)
