Griddle Growl Overdrive

The Griddle Growl is a fire-breathing tribute to the legendary Crowther Audio Hotcake 2003-style overdrive—built to push your amp harder while letting your guitar’s true voice roar through. Inspired by the cult-classic circuit loved by players since the ’70s, the Griddle Growl keeps your tone raw, open, and alive instead of choking it with heavy tone filtering. Its glassy, Fender-style sparkle delivers chime, bite, and smooth sustain that cuts through the mix with pure rock-and-roll attitude. Kick it on to light up your clean tone with attitude or slam the front of your amp for thick, singing mid-gain grind—all while keeping every note clear and touch-responsive. If you want an overdrive that snarls when you dig in and cleans up when you roll back, the Griddle Growl is ready to cook. We recommend putting this particular build in front of your guitar amp, not in the effects loop. Based on the 2003 version for a glassier Fenderish character. FIRST 10 ARE SIGNED AND DATED!
