Green Tea Eye Balm

Green tea and Rosehips eye balm ✨✨ I have been on a quest to create a skin care routine that is full of medical plants, easy to use, and COST friendly. I started off with a high quality green tea, and let it macerate in Sweet Almond oil. Green tea is packed full of antioxidants , is anti inflammatory, and anti microbial. Antioxidants are wonderful to help reduce puffiness- helps with puffy eyes. Tannins are also found in green tea which help tighten, and tone uneven skin. We also added in our infused Rosehips in Jojoba oil. Rosehips have been called superfood for your face, they are packed with nutrients like vitamin a, and c, fatty acids and flavonoids. Our oil base also has nutrients and these oils test low on the comedogenic scale. All of this together have been shown to help support hydrating your skin, lightening dark spots, ace, and reducing wrinkles. I wanted to add a butter to this recipe to add in that extra moisturizing feel. I choose to add shea to add the additional vitamins like A, E, and F. These vitamins help promote collagen production. Antioxidants which help fight off free radical damage, and helps seal in moisture. Also, did you know beeswax is more then just an ingredient used to create stability in a product? Beeswax also offers a protective barrier to lock in all of the moisture and vitamins in your skin. Beeswax also helps pull moisture from the air to help hydrate your skin! I also added in Vitamin E, and essential oils that are beneficial in helping with wrinkles and dark spots. I created this to go in addition with our herbal eye serum roller. For me, I use the eye roller at night to let it soak in while I sleep, and use this green tea balm in the morning before I put my makeup on. This comes in the cutest little 1 oz purple glass jar. I hope that you love this eye balm as much as I do!
